Scratch Programming makes programming look easy as well as fun through the creation of storyboards and animation. Scratch was first developed at MIT and is popular across all ages. No knowledge of programming is necessary to learn Scratch. Buddies help support our differently abled learners in the class. In the last year's session, participants had a lot of fun working on a Finding Nemo storyline project - check it out here! In the this year's session, participants had a lot of fun working on a Lion King storyline project - check it out here!
Python programming is a valuable skill set for the differently-abled individual in Silicon Valley. Two levels of Python programming classes are taught by experienced Silicon Valley engineers. Buddies help support our differently abled learners in class. Inclusive World's basic level Python course covers the fundamentals: data types, operators and expressions, loops, functions, import modules, and finishes with building a ‘Hangman’ game as the final project. The advanced Python programming class builds on concepts taught in the basic skills class. There has been very positive feedback from past participants who have grown to love programming.
