Co-founder and Secretary


Madhu Krishnan is a co-founder and the President of Inclusive World. Her journey began with a sabbatical from her day job as a Silicon Valley Engineer to volunteer at the San Jose Emergency Housing Consortium (EHC) and the Refugee Resettlement Program at Catholic Charities. Krishnan now works full-time for Inclusive World.  She forges partnerships with local organizations, heads strategic and business planning, and leads our Scratch Programming and Volunteer Jobs programs. Krishnan also co-leads a Dining for Women chapter. 

Deepa Lakshminarayan is a co-founder and Secretary of Inclusive World. Her passion of giving back to the community started with organizing local toy and food drives and mobilizing neighborhood youth to prepare brown bag lunches for local shelters. In addition to being a Silicon Valley Engineer, she also runs a small home based business where she designs and sells jewelry, cards, and other hand-made articles. Her skills in this area have led her to run and teach Arts and Crafts program along the lines of a business model where the differently abled not only learn to make crafts, but are involved in the various aspects of running a small business.

 Swapna Iyer is a co-founder of Inclusive World. She is especially passionate about accessibility to technical professional education, which she believes will not only improve skill-sets for the differently abled but will improve their acceptance as productive members of society. Her graduate degree in engineering and her background as a Silicon Valley Engineer have been channelized into the development of  professional development education classes for the differently abled. She teaches both the basic and advanced Python Programming classes at Inclusive World.
